Why? Because we don't have a Thunderhawk and I'm jealous of every other Cedar Fair park that does!

See, a Thunderhawk towers six stories above the earth, flips you over and over and sprays water up your nose. Oh, wait--I think we have one of those. But that's not my point!

Cuz see, THEN? I guess the car kinda jumps off those flippy arms or something and goes up and down hills like a classic wooden coaster...
until POW the floor falls out the bottom of your car and your feet are dangling and you start going whee flippy-flippy again! And rattling on the track until your brain detaches from its stem and begins oozing from your ears. But enough with all the details.
Anyway? Yes, all three of these very VERY different rides are named 'Thunderhawk.'
Is there any rhyme or reason to it? I dunno. You tell me.
What would a ValleyFair Thunderhawk do? Iono. I just know I want one.
Slap the name on something at the park already! A burger stand! A restroom! I don't care!
It just sounds so kewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwl.
