This WEATHER. Honestly.

Yesterday was disappointing. I cut my running distance to shreds for NO good reason.

Actually, the 'reason' was to gorge on Indian boo-fay, then running off those excess calories by running up 36 to 72 flights of stairs. Or more. Except it never got warm enough to swim--rain or not--and today hasn't been much better.

So instead of Indian food and Valleyfair, I had B meet me at the mall for food court dinner and mini-golf. And our glorious log flume.

At least there was Piada involved. I'm starting to get a bit too involved with them.






Since it was carb meal time, I traded in my spinach leaf salad for angel hair, diabalo sauce and mebbe a bit of artichoke heart.







B had her typical Toasted Sammie and Tots. Perhaps she wouldn't, had she realized Disco Fries just opened. We tied at mini-golf.


Other fun and fulfilling summertime activities:

- Washing a couple loads of work clothes
- Configuring B's lappy after her accidental upgrade to Windows 10
- Setting her up with her old-school VGA level projector, via HDMI-to-VGA adapter cables and plugs
- Upgrading my car's software to the new Android-Auto-or-Apple-Carplay version
- Hacking down those stubborn hostas that B doesn't want any more

Inorite? The weather's s'posed to improve tomorrow. Here's hoping!

I think the only way to get rid of hostas is to dig up every last bit of them and either throw them in the garbage or give them to a new home.

I'd read on the internet that you're sposeda let them grow a certain height, then spray them down with Roundup. Newwwwwwp!

They laughed that (bleep) off, grew monstrous but didn't forget to wilt the leaves I'd sprayed. But not before they'd grown full-size. Just to spite me.

B was bit unhappy with my plans to eat my big meal without her Friday. Can't blame her, since we'd eaten separately Monday (Beyonce) and Thursday (classes).

Since it was too cold to enjoy the waterpark anyway, it made more sense to keep B happy.

But don't worry--I was last there a couple weeks ago!

B's food looks yummy! :) Did she start a new job? Did I miss something? I knew you said she would be traveling and you were the travel planner, but I guess I didn't realize it was a different job.

Except for the promised midafternoon THUNDERSTORM in Shakopee. So I snoozed a bit thru Angry Birds at the local theater instead.
