Anybody wanna ROAD TRIP with a brotha?
You'd have to like roller coasters--or at least waterslides and wavepools.
Rides that go spinny-spinny are optional.
This trip would involve a ten- to twelve-hour drive to

Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH
(Go clicky on the logo, it'll link you there)
Which--if you don't know? Is an amusement park with 16 roller coasters...
including one that's 300 feet tall (think Wild Thing with Excalibur stacked on top!)
and one that's 500 feet tall...when it's working, anyway.
Then there's

Geauga Lake near Cleveland (another ten plus a huge free water park).
On the way back, there's always

Which is a lot more laid back. I don't even think it's as big as Valleyfair.
But there'd be no pressure to 'do everything' cuz that would take about 3 hours.
We'd also probably bump into a buncha LJ people and/or Coasterbuzz dorks.
You people know who you are.
I've only got--let's see--about 5 and-a-half weeks of vacation laying around, so I'm kinda flexible.
BUT the trip's better made before July. Lines tend to get long from the 4th till mid-August.
And if you'd like to take a day away from the midways for something else, I'm game.
But if you're interested in planning something like this?
You really REALLY should buy a Valleyfair season pass NOW.
They're $70 until the end of this week and will get you into each and every one of those parks FREE.
That's right. Free.
You can buy them online or quite possibly at Burnsville Center, too.
