A brief Valleyfair dork-out moment

1) The stakes in the ground by the grassy knoll have been accompanied by a bunch of pink flags. Upon closer observation, the flags read, "Wetland Delineation." You see, if you remove any wetland area, you have to replace it somewhere else. In other words, they will be leveling out that hill and depression real soon-like after Labor Day weekend.

Anyone who knows the park knows when construction markers usually show up. There were no stakes around the Xtreme Swing site 'till late August. Steel Venom was naught but two stakes in the parking lot around that same time. Multiple stakes as early as May? There's a much bigger project in the works.
