I have no idea why I'm a bit uneasy about voting tomorrow.

Perhaps because it means a bit more than '04. Scratch that. A LOT more.

You know what i think is the most un-American thing there is? Practically an act of treason?

Attempting to stop someone else from voting. Period. At all.

And especially because you fear that vote isn't the same as yours.

That's precisely what freedom is. Freedom to speak your own mind and decide for yourself.

If you can't respect the freedoms of others, you don't belong here.

I shoulda known something was gonna be up the minute I got home.
After all, Brenda took the day off...and after a casual sleep-in and some typical AM conversation, she insisted that I hit the club and work out right away.

So I shouldn't have been surprised to see 'spy' photos on the camera of me coming home.

In defense of Lakeville, MN

Remember the crazy McCain lady immortalized on SNL?
Yeah, this one.

You know I lived in Lakeville in the married days, right?
Yup. Homeowner in a Beaver Cleaver neighborhood.
Da Babies went to schools there. My kids played with the neighbor's kids and slept over at their houses and some of their best friends are Lakeville natives.

I shopped in the chain stores and the little Mom-and-Pops and remember, knocked on a lot of people's doors, too. To tell you the truth? I doubt if this crackpot was actually FROM Lakeville. I'm blaming Nordeast Minneapolis!

Nevertheless, Da Babies found this 'remix' of the event.
It gets funnier every time we watch it.
