Skipping ahead
So work is INSANE because it's a new financial year and we can do certain things of the things I never tell you about that we haven't been allowed to do in a number of weeks prior. Trust me, it's a good thing. Very good, in fact. But it's keeping me crazy busy.
Anyway, on to this weekend. Yes, I know. I never finished telling you about last weekend. But this weekend can be summed up kinda quick.
FRIDAY: Getting to training site Omega SUCKED. I forgot I needed to was my clothes. Then the dryer apparently didn't switch on the first time I thought I had it. Then I didn't have this, that or the other. THEN the highway I took there--which was scheduled for a weekend closing already--was prematurely shut to a single lane. Seriously, people. What? WOT?!?!?!? Do you miss screwing with people that much? Can't wait for midnight or whenever? Oh, and then I forgot to fill my tank, which meant I had to exit the highway anyway to fill up somewhere more expensive than I was planning to go. Long story short: I got to my site three hours later than expected.
I took my frustrations out on the course...and wound up with a rather good time. I'm not telling you what it was. I don't wanna jinx it.
Saturday we did ValleyScare again. So did 98987987498379873898 dropped-off white trash teens, all out to impress each other. Can't be too upset about that; after all, it is how the park makes money, right? Actually, we caught a matinee of Lion King 3D first, then went to the park before it got all spooky, THEN ate at their buffet (not worth $17, but definitely worth $10.50 with a season passholder discount) and hung out until about 11ish.
Did I mention season passes are on fire sale now at $60 each? And are good from May-November? Seriously, think LONG and hard about buying one if you live here.
Sunday we laid around the house and watched movies. Which was nice. Haven't lazed in forever.
See? Told you it would be quick. I might have more to say about spookytime later.
