LA Food Pr0n #6: Hanging in the Balance @ Santa Monica Pier

Given the exquisite details of the Typical Brenda Plan, Santa Monica Pier night (Friday?) was a bit of an anomaly. We had no dinner plans whatsoever. No Diners, Drive-ins and Dives joint or Spot We Always Wanted to Try in LA or anything like that. In fact, I may have spent a night or two trying to figure out a place on the Web to no avail.

So we kinda stumbled in for whatever happened to be around.
Which was a good thing, I guess. Because dinner came by default.

Obviously, I don't watch much TV.

Otherwise, how would I not know that the 'Troy' character on Community is supposed to be a J-Dub? Mostly cuz no one else watches the show either and I generally catch the last five minutes before the better stuff comes on. Riggggght, that.

ADDITIONAL BONUS ETA: The actor playing Troy WAS raised J-Dub himself, which is kind of why he doesn't sound like some idiot pretending to be a J-Dub. Of course, that only makes the J-Dub jokes 98734590874 times funnier. Much like the J-Dub jokes in Reno 911...most of which were probably written by the 'Jones-y' character (you know, the black guy). Who may or may not have been raised J-Dub, but has a J-Dub mom. No, seriously. He does. Or more correctly, she is? Anyway, she attended the last congregation I'd teach at before I left.
