I can't be the only person who thinks this.

I'd like to replace my telly that just died this weekend. I've been plotting it to some extent for a while...and anticipating that was fun! Unfortunately, now that I have to buy one? It kinda sucks.

It can't be larger than 32" so it fits in the bedroom armoire. In my dreams of sorts, I thought I wanted the 1080p Vizio with passive 3D like the theaters. Of course, that costs $400 and a plain-jane 720p can be had for half that price. If only I was truly convinced--while staring at its picture versus alllllllll the others--that it's worth it. Only I'm not. I was kinda sorta hoping the price would drop with time? But time's up.

And then along comes the Missus with the high-pressure hose of practical and REALISTIC and OMG rip my remaining hair out WHY YOU GOTTA BE LIKE THAT?!?!!??!?!?!!?
