Looks like it's tall crane day at Valleyfair as the 230-foot tall new ride apparently goes vertical.

Or additionally vertical. The base is already in place and it's gotta be 20-some-odd feet tall. Not counting what's had concrete poured 'round it and buried.

Good thing I got more work done this week than I'll get.

Okay, okay. TBH, an awful lot of waiting for maybe two minutes of swinging around. And now all the mundane, tedious (bleep) like I dunno BOLTING THE PIECES TOGETHER so it won't collapse on riders next May. BooORRRRRRrring.

Can't shake the funny feeling it won't get any taller today cuz the actual ride carriage is next. In which case I'll be glued to my screen again. And bugging the crap outta youse about it.
