Oh NO, it's OVER!
Apr. 12th, 2017 09:37 pmMy poor widdle car's officially obselete. Snot snot.
Here's a closer look at the refresh. In many ways, the interior looks a lot like mine.
LOVE the new rear end. Don't like the front.
The new radio/heating/cooling buttons are a solid 'no.'
They're pretty like a stainless steel fridge is pretty.
And stupid because you're supposed to place your fingers on them. Hello smudgy?
Tough enough keeping my touchscreen looking decent!
The new rear row USB port is nice. The 'ski-thru' rear seat feature is awesome.
The new tranny pairing with the turbo engine might make me jealous.
Might they finally have a fast Sonata? Possibly.
On Planet Kia, a 2.0 Turbo/Eight Speed pairing would bump into the base Stinger AND the Cadenza in the lineup.
There's no Hyundai equivalent of either car.
Do they know what a lead-footed driver can buy in an Altima (6 cylinder) or a Malibu (turbo 4+8 speed tranny=5.7 seconds to 60 MPH) or a Fusion (6 cylinder, TWIN turbo) or a Camry (6 cylinder, 8 speed tranny)? They're missing that premium mid-size buyer. Badly.
Anyhoo, if you like the look of the 'old' white car in that video, they'll be getting cheaper in a couple months.
You might consider snapping one up.
