FORCED off my job...

newlifeinstpaul...just not for the reasons people tend to use those words.
I completely--COMPLETELY--forgot about my floating holiday this year. If I don't use it by the end of June, I lose it. My natural response was well, eff THAT and I wrote myself a day off Thursday.
Then I glanced at my biweekly time card and realized that I would have 255 hours of vacation--and as far as I knew, any balances above 250 are lost at the end of June, too. Well bleep that too, thought I as I quickly wrote myself off half of Wednesday, too.
And Monday? Are you kidding me? Out comes the pad again.
I almost wish I had the cash on me to go somewhere fun. Wait, no I don't. I spent that on Da Babies' room. Besides, theMinnesota Booty Festival Taste is on this weekend. Me? Leave town with that goin' on? Oh heeeeeelllllll naw!
But I should spend at least a lil' quality time with Chica and just maybe Lil' Pina too--if I can find an environment that precludes all her usual freakin' begging/money-grubbing. And then Da Babies are tryin' to call Tuesday for another ValleyFair romp. As long as they clear it with Mommy, I don't see why not. She might still need them for moving help, so we'll see.
Otherwise? I fully intend to disappear. Whereabouts unknown to anyone but me.
