NanoWriMo. Yes or No-No?

Next week, I will run a half-marathon. It's a familiar half and my ninth overall.

NanoWrimo? Only did once. Glad I did, because I never would have met el_staplador online--much less in real life--without it. But how would I pull it off...?

There wasn't a Brenda the last time. There wasn't a reason to go home or converse over supper or watch Together TV shows before breaking off to my own devices. I'd leave work, at 6, hit the coffee shop and bang away until 8ish-9ish. Which isn't an option these days.

No one's seen the story. Not even the Missus. I both won and lost. Won because I typed 50,000 words. Lost because the story never got done.

Not sure what to do. Or if to do? How.
