Well TODAY Sure Had it's Nerve...
May. 28th, 2017 08:03 pm...all sunny and nearly warm enough to swim and all.
Yesterday had the decency to remain cloudy. At least while I was out.
Got B outta the house for over an hour to spin some stops and catch some (disappointingly lame) Pokeymon. Which is oh, maybe 5 days to a week earlier than last surgery. Of course, the initial surgery was quite a bit more involved. But for what it's worth.
B has almost stopped apologizing for 'ruining' the holiday weekend. If it meant that much to me, I'd have urged her to postpone her surgery. I didn't go under a scalpel. I'll cope. And by 'coping' I mean napping in the outdoor whirlpool at the gym....while the lilacs behind it are in bloom and the breezes are cool. 'Thanks' to her surgery date and cooperative weather, I'll get to enjoy that for a full week BEFORE those screaming little rugrats get out of school to ruin it. See how this works?
I'ma play some RCT3 for the first time in who-knows-how-long. But I'll leave you with a pic of a Canadian salad.
HEY, it's got ranch on top and almost six pieces of lettuce. Yup! That's a salad.
