Maybe I'm noticing it since I leave the building before 8 pm. Who knows?

Can you believe ValleyFair will be open in less than two months?
I wonder if they've already razed the amphitheater. Or if you can already see where footers for a 2007 REAL coaster will go. Hmmmm.

Looks like Bunker Beach hiked their season pass rates $10. UGH.
And still didn't build that tube slide were squawking for in '04. That sucks.

I'm gonna be working more overtime again. Yup yup.
Signed up for 16 hours, up from 11. I'm gonna push to do most of it on my weekend off.
In theory, I should have a lot more 'time off' with the weeknights and all.
You know? It feels pretty good to be considered one of the sharp ones and better yet, work on other folks' stuff without giving them the high-and-mighty BS of certain other folks. Handlin' ma bidness here feels good and carries over everywhere else. I suppose its an anchor of sorts for my self-esteem when I'm off doing things that terrify me later. XD

You know what I really, really wish for? My wish of wishes?
I wish I knew somebody that was ROCK SOLID with the employment (i.e. two years or better in the same place) and a good credit history that I could stand to live with and vice versa. I'd go out with them and get another decent $250K-300K place.
Of course, the #1 place to look would be right here in my office...but if they aren't paying child support, even our clerical workers can afford to do that on their own. Blah.

You know, the real estate market's a lot different this year than last--with the speculators scared stiff and on the run. Maybe it's time I got a place. Even if it was only a $100K condo. I'm starting to look.
