The Wild Thing's problem: Bad TRACK?

Or more specifically, a bad mounting bracket on the track?
Okay, THAT's scary.
Scarier yet is the circle of finger-pointing to follow.
I know VF removes, repaints and replaces segments of track in the off-season.
But do they do it themselves or do they subcontract other engineers to do it?
And are those engineers among one of the two firms currently involved in the investigation?
Or are they all going to turn and point at Morgan's under-engineered design to begin with?
What's next?
I'm finding WAY too many reasons to use the Screaming Lunch Lady icon today....
