Here's What Really Happened

We didn't have a Valentines Day this year. At least not on the day.

February 14^th was spent driving from Grand Forks, ND to Winnipeg for a funeral the day after that.

Fans of calendars, counting days and such might realize that also meant Presidents Day off for me, either. Spent most of it pissing off conservative Canadians. Which is just fine. Hey Fuckit, I'm a Grown-up. Know what else? Your daughter's a grown-ass woman with a mutha(bleep)ing Masters Degree. Sure you helped her get it--wait. No, SHE earned and learned it; perhaps you secured a loan. But she's PAID that and currently don't owe you SHEEEEEIT.

Not to worry, tho. We're home and I'm 'celebrating' Presidents Day today. Which will mostly be spent building cabinets, shelves and reorganizing my laundry room. Cuz I Wanna. After all, there's still Friday for loafing about.
