A Sad Goodbye to Dear Old Friends: Stuffed Things

The year I left my ex and former conservative faith, many external elements of my life changed. But all in all, I found inner peace. Sufficient calm to exhale slowly, center myself and--uh, destroy a carnival game of skill? I guess.

This was one of many 'choice' prizes hauled home that year. There was no maximum, you were allowed to trade smaller prizes for larger ones...no way to lose. If you visited my local park with me in '03 or '04, you'd go home with a prize. This was my least favorite. Before B's folks came to town, I let it go.






I like this one much more, but it was also sent to Goodwill. It had a rip on a seam, lost a fair amount of stuffing and Oh RIGHT I've got this in another color.

Still sad to see them go.

They were bagged for storage in the laundry. The rest are bagged, too--but we're running short on space.
