Don't even think I've bothered showing B this clip, cuz there's no point. She'll stare at the screen and frown, then shake her head and say I don't see how violence is funny or something even more belittling to folks raised in the Golden Age of Whuppin' Other People's Kids and Spankings in Schools. Not that it fixed A Damn Thing about Shitty Kids being Shits. It didn't. (Bleep)a(Bleep)s still wound up in jail. But cha know what? NyQuil was still 50 proof and Apple Jacks were still the sweet, tasty Legend they Once Were. As in Fifty-one percent sugar content. Those days? You mighta had to slap a school-aged kid to check for a PULSE.
So when I'm crabby, this lil vignette always brightens my day.
